Yes, we are living through one of America’s darkest times. But that’s just the setting – that is not our story, not the story of activists. Our story is how wildly successful we are getting at finding the light.
We are finding heroes among our friends and family, and within ourselves.
We are finding that little voice deep, deep down that says no, this is too important to ignore, this love is holy, this sanity is holy, this science is holy, this democracy is holy, this spirit of rebellion is holy, this righteous wrath is holy, this progress we’ve made toward a better world is holy and must be defended!
I must do something.
That is the choice that changes the world.
In 2024, that choice added up to you, our Field Team 6 volunteers, contacting 25 million unregistered likely Democrats in 2024, by postcard, email, text, and phone. And here’s what happened.
6 million registered as Democrats or independents.
4 million voted.
Those votes helped win 5 swing Senate seats and 43 swing House seats.
And now we’ve teamed up (again!) with our righteous partners at The Union, who are helping us trumpet the next major call to action:
Come to a No Kings Day II rally this Saturday, 10/18 – and register every person you can to vote!

Here are a couple things (among the many, many options) to do coming up this next week and beyond:
#1 – Saturday, October 18. Join what’s looking like it’ll be the biggest peaceful protest in American history, No Kings II. Protest is mandatory. Frog suits are optional.
#2 – Sunday, October 19 at 1p PT / 4p ET. As part of the Great Registration Race you can learn to lead a partisan voter registration drive, the Field Team 6 way! It’s the number one most direct, effective way to swing elections – and it’s incredibly fun. You’ll leave fired up, and knowing all you need to lead your own voter drive! RSVP!
