Following Indivisible’s plan, hordes of us are flooding the phones of our Senators and Representatives. And it’s working. We have many more calls to make and much more work to do. But already, before our very eyes, elected Democrats are growing a spine.
And electorally it’s working too. Democrats just won those two special elections in Virginia, securing control of the House of Delegates and State Senate. In the recent special election in Iowa, a Democrat won a State Senate seat in a 25-point swing to the left. That is a win for the Resistance.
Based on that, Field Team 6 is thrilled to announce we are expanding the map to target the three special Congressional elections to replace Matt Gaetz (R), Elise Stefanik (R), and Michael Waltz (R). Two of those House seats in Florida are up for flipping blue on 4/1/25, the same day we aim to cement our liberal majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court. (The NY special election to replace Stefanik will be later, possibly in June – more on that as it approaches!)
And now we move! Help us strike a HUGE blow for the Resistance by winning the crucial Wisconsin Supreme Court battle, and seeing if we can flip 2 Florida House districts. #1: The Wisconsin Supreme Court. The April 1 election determines if the court retains a liberal majority or flips conservative. That court will decide election law and play a key role in shaping the '26 midterms and '28 presidential. The week of Feb. 11th there are many ways you can help: Text. Phonebank. Postcards. #3: Valentine’s Day Postcard Party. On Friday, February 14 at 11a PT/2p ET, sign up and spread your love of liberty. Do NOT underestimate the power of the pen and postcard. Sending postcards with a personal touch is one of our most effective tools. One of out every five people we send a postcard to registers to vote!
