FIST IN THE AIR. Our love is stronger than their hate.
FIST IN THE AIR. These pains are birth pains, as we birth a new society out of the flaming ashes of the old.
We are the most patriotic Americans: we are activists. We fight for what’s right, not with anger but with love. Not by dividing but by connecting. Not by belittling each other but by empowering each other and growing our numbers, at every town hall and protest and election. And that means registering new progressive voters.
Let Schumer’s utter capitulation be a turning point in the molting process, where our current Democratic Party needs to shed its skin and becomes something newer, stronger, more responsive to Americans and more respectful to the grassroots. Our leaders should be worthy of the grassroots heroes and the voters who fuel their victory. And so we need new leaders. Call your Senators at 202-224-3121 and demand Sen. Schumer step down from leadership!
In a democracy, we get to choose those leaders. Leaders with as much fight in them as we have. The answer is more engagement, not less. We need to get loud at protests and we need to win more elections. And the most direct way to do that is by registering new progressive voters in swing states and districts.
As Trump defies the courts and lurches toward dictatorship, thousands of protests across the nation spring up to counter him. Now more than ever, we need to translate that momentum into new Democratic voters… voters who win key elections for the one party that believes in democracy. At these protests, register new voters! Protests are some of the BEST places to register new Democrats. And we have digital tools HERE that make it super easy!
Our next test is April 1 in Wisconsin’s Supreme Court and Florida’s two special US House elections. The two Florida seats are total long shots – but the stakes are too high not to fight for with everything we’ve got. In Wisconsin, we are up against Elon Musk, who is dropping millions of dollars to buy a Supreme Court seat for a MAGA extremist who will ban abortion and attack voting rights.
