We are in the middle of a national emergency. Our every move matters – there is no time to waste. All our energy must go to solving the problem.
How is that great news?
Because the choice we have has never been more clear. We can agonize. Or we can organize. We can stress ourselves out and waste all our energy debating one million scenarios. Or we can help register more Democrats to make sure we win no matter what.
Case in point: we must rebalance SCOTUS – by expanding it. The only way to do that is by winning a Democratic trifecta and then pushing our leaders to do just that. And the only way to win is to help register more Democrats to vote.
We are the way out of this. All of us. The progressive movement. And – most importantly – YOU. Everything you do matters.
We know you’re smarting right now from all the bad news. So am I. So are all of us. Let’s use this crisis as an opportunity to come together as an activist family, have each other’s backs, and translate this pain into action that will save our democracy. Like musicians who turn sorrow into song.
