Texting, Texting, and More Texting! Napa Vintage Wine Tasting (Not Texting)!

On Tuesday, Republican voters in Texas made Ken Paxton their candidate for US Senate. This is a man whom the National Republican Senatorial Committee has referred to as “repulsive and disgusting.” Here’s a brief list of some of Paxton’s greatest hits:

• impeached by the Texas House of Representatives for bribery, dereliction of duty, and obstruction of justice

• investigated for years by the FBI for bribery and abuse of office

• indicted for felony securities fraud

• divorced for having multiple extramarital affairs

• sued for professional misconduct in his attempt to overturn the 2020 election results

On the Democratic side, James Talarico is a generational talent who combines progressive bona fides with the ability to reach independents and even some Republicans. He is a man of deep integrity, bold vision, and real courage. He is the fighter this moment demands.

This race pits a supervillain against a superhero.

The last Democrat from Texas who won a US Senate seat was Lloyd Bentsen in 1988.

We believe James Talarico could be the next one.

So today, we’re making it official: Field Team 6 is expanding our map to Texas, statewide. LET’S. TAKE. THAT. SEAT.

To do this, we will need your help.

We will need donations to buy contact info for every single unregistered, likely Democrat in Texas – we’ve found 4.9 million! – so this cost will be substantial.

We will need donations to send voter registration texts and emails to these folks.

And we will need you (and everyone you can bring) to volunteer to send those texts, as well as sending every single postcard that your speedy hands can write!
