Biggest Little Strategy Briefing to Reveal Expand the Map Targets!
Graham Platner is out – as he should be. And speaking for Field Team 6, let me be perfectly clear: we must still win Maine.
We are not giving up on the people of Maine.
We are not giving up on the Maine Senate seat.
We are not giving up on flipping the US Senate blue in November.
This battle is so much bigger than one little man. Yes, there is plenty of blame to go around, and we must learn the lessons that will prevent this from happening again. But right now we need to deal with the emergency.
The Maine Democratic Party is doing that, announcing they will be holding a nominating convention in the next two weeks. The people of Maine now need to engage with that process.
And for us activists nationwide, our role is to support the process, and then support the candidate who wins and push them over the finish line.
It is not too late. All is not lost. In fact, we just dodged a bullet.
Remember, Kamala Harris won Maine by 7 points and Democrat Hannah Pingree is currently leading in the gubernatorial race by 13 points.
We have all the ingredients for success here, IF we have you in the fight! Field Team 6 has the unique ability to text, postcard, and email many thousands of unregistered, likely Democrats in Maine – and we will resume that as soon as we know who our new Senate candidate will be. We will need your volunteer hours and donations to win this.
And we can win this!
