YES, I REMEMBER IT WELL
2015, silent auction, texting options and more!
Do you remember 2015?
2015 was a big transition year. I’d been a working screenwriter since 2010, but decided to move into advertising. I broke into the ad game by writing movie trailers, which was lucky timing. Because my 2nd child was born, so I REALLY needed a steady gig. – Gregg Millman, Newsletter Team
In 2015, I was happily raising my son in Redondo Beach, about a mile from the water. Groceries were affordable and my rent was reasonable. I had two careers, but I loved them both. I was busy, content, and fulfilled. – Cat Landry, Newsletter Team
In 2015 I was working in TV and raising my first two kids, planning birthdays and field trips like a visit to the LA Sanitation Department Open House so my sons could operate a garbage truck and I could get a free tree from the city. – Sharon Lord Greenspan, Newsletter Team
In 2015, my wife (at the time) and I bought and moved into our first house together. That year I worked on two TV writing/producing gigs — the MTV reality show Todrick, shot in Los Angeles and Lubbock, Texas… then Discovery’s Airplane Repo. – Jason Berlin, Founder, Field Team 6
As for me? I’d just launched a production company in the ABC News building four blocks from the White House, had been Emmy-nominated for a renovation show on DIY Network, and had recently moved into a funky craftsman in Takoma Park where I was planting a vegetable garden with my second-grade son.
Yes, I Remember it Well is our 2015-vintage wine tasting fundraiser in Napa, CA tonight. It is sold out (although you can still donate HERE or check out the silent auction HERE)! It celebrates that time before whatshisface dominated our every waking thought and what it’ll be like after he and his enablers are gone. The fundraiser is to make sure we have the dollars to do the crucial work we are primed to do – to short-circuit his remaining time by registering the voters who can help take back the House and Senate this November.
An amazing volunteer put this delightful event together, and it is exactly the generosity we need from you! Not everyone has connections to Napa wineries. But you probably have other connections, perhaps the ability to set up a Zoom with family and friends, or just ask us and we’ll set up a personalized fundraiser page to share. Please reach out HERE with any and all ideas.
We can do this. We are doing this. Will you jump on the already moving train? Volunteer! Donate! Win!
Dale Roy Robinson, COO, Field Team 6
